SPRING IS LURKING Serie

The budding spring lurks behind the wall, wondering what the new blooming year will bring us.(serie of 4 movements) This series were made for a group exposition with the theme how we saw spring. First study was made in modelling wax and then made a one time plaster mould, melted out the wax, and then poured with a mixture of massive polyester and sand and black pigment. The enlargement was made in PU and put a acrylic-one cover on it so the statue is weatherproof. It was also presented on a outside group show. To present it , I made a 3.00 meter high black tower for the contrast.
